Hi, it's me!

I am Irene — I live in Vlissingen, but I am originally from the city of Groningen. I studied and obtained a Master's degree in German Language and Literature and still work as a German teacher at a secondary school in Middelburg.
Photography was and is my outlet. It started as a passion, grew into a craft, and eventually became my profession.
I love getting up early for the golden hour. Black coffee. The sea, forest, and mountains. Traveling to Iceland, Norway, Spain, Italy, France, Sweden, or Madeira.
My favorite seasons: spring & autumn. I love pasta & chocolate, my guilty pleasures: Lay's Sensations and Tony's Chocolonely. My music: rock to pop and everything in between. I work out about 5 times a week; strength training and running. I love interior design magazines; I dream of features in Vogue Living and of photographing in Scotland, Ireland, or Canada.
My vibe is a feeling; moody and bohemian with a touch of punk, but also atmospheric and authentic. I love series like Outlander and Bridgerton.
I am a free-spirited feminist, organized and perfectionistic. Melancholic sometimes, down-to-earth often, a dreamer always. I am a social loner 💖
At home, I am with Richard, our three adult children, and our English Springer Spaniel, Cooper.
I love many forms of photography, but above all wedding photography, self-love shoots, (bridal) boudoir, and love shoots.
